Hello there! Welcome! I’m Jae and my love for handbags started around when I was 7 years old. I was given a 70’s inspired coin purse that was made from beaded white pearls with a gold chain to wear around my wrist. I was so mesmerized on the detailing and how it was all put together. Even though, I couldn’t figure that part out yet, I felt so glamorous with my new little bag.

Fast forward to 2019, I needed to update my sewing machine. So my supportive husband bought me a new Singer machine and from there I starting making quiIted blankets, pillow cases and small items. As time past & my knowledge with sewing grew, I challenged myself with bigger projects. My first handbag! I showed it to my Hubby and was he impressed! “You made this?? It looks like you bought this at the store! Babe, you SHOULD sell this!!” Two years later, that idea florished to Sewing Emeralds Handmade bags and Sewn goods!
